When I penned our first KiSara song "Possibilities" I never envisioned the response that it would create amongst families, agencies and the communities we've visited.    I simply needed to send a positive message. 

Now I realize just how much families and individuals were looking for positive messages and the opportunity to celebrate everyone's individuality and talents.  After diagnosis a person's life can become filled with assessments, tests, therapies and piles and piles of paper.  But our children and we are so much more than that! 

Although the therapies and services we receive are invaluable tools we need to nurture our gifts, abilities and talents.  The spiritual side that creates balance in our lives.  As our song lyric says:

They told my mom that I'd never get to reach out for my dreams
But she says,
Every time she looks at me..
she sees ...
possibilities! 

That was a very real aspect of our experience and I've found that everyone has the ability to write their own story.  There are no limits to what any of you can accomplish and to the possibilities around you.
